My name is Georgette. I am a mother to 2 children,20 year old Samantha and 11 year old Claudia. My full time career is in the pharmaceutical industry but I have always had an extreme passion for dogs. I am Animal Behavor College Certified Dog Trainer and am very committed to the rescue/foster/rehoming of dogs in need. I have the privilage of working with 3 wonderful women (Chris, Adelle and Anna) who have been rescuing/rehoming dogs for many years in the Central New York (Syracuse) area. Our primary focus is rescue of dogs in our community that have been abandoned, abused or surrendered by their owners and to provide medical care and a temporary home for the dog until it can be placed in an appropriate and well matched forever home.

About Save One Dog Foundation

Save One Dog Foundation is currently a network of 4 (with a few other volunteers) and we are committed to growing our rescue organization. We are desperately in need of foster homes where our rescue dogs will be provided enormous amounts of love and attention before they are adopted into their forever homes. We also offer a unique opportunity to dog lovers just wanting to spend some quality time with our dogs by taking them on “doggy outings” or “doggy sleepovers”. This is a wonderful way of giving the dogs a positive experience in a true “home” environment while helping to socialize the dogs. A feedback form about your time with our dog supplies us with valuable information that can be utilized in placing the dog in an appropriate home.

All costs associated with this rescue are paid for out of our own pockets so donations are critical to our ability to continue to help these dogs.  Save One Dog Foundation has been granted 501 (c)(3) status by the IRS and is a non-profit public charity.
